Visitors to the Joel Allen Communications web site will note that the home page displays an image of a microphone on a stand, against a backdrop of misty, floating clouds. Off to one side, you'll see the communication services I provide, with "Voice Work" at the top of the list.
That voice work now includes audiobook narration, as I have completed my first project, a biography of Dr. Travis Stork, host of the popular syndicated TV show, The Doctors. The book was written by Dr. Ruth Carr, a distinguished clinical psychologist from West Virginia, who has penned a number of other books on such topics as relationship secrets, natural health care habits and communication skills.
Dr. Travis Stork: Understanding the Life and Lessons of the Creator of the Doctors Diet and The Doctors Talk Show is available for download at Audible, iTunes and Amazon.
This is my first completed audio book, but more are in the works and should be available soon!
Watch this space for updates.
(One of these days, I'm going to get around to recording the audiobook version of that exciting and dynamic work of fiction, Ripoff and Run. Which also happens to be available at Amazon and if you haven't already ordered a copy, what the heck are you waiting for?)
